Where gas actually wins
None of this makes gas a bad machine — it makes it the wrong machine for a car. Gas earns its keep when you need continuous high pressure far from an outlet: stripping a large concrete driveway, cleaning masonry and fence lines, prepping a deck, or hosing down farm and job-site equipment. If that describes half your cleaning life, a gas unit is a reasonable one-machine-does-everything buy, and you’ll simply fit a wide 40° tip and keep extra distance on the days you point it at the car.
